Diving right in front of the resort was a dream. The breathtaking views from the restaurant added magic to our meals, but the room could use better maintenance.

Both lovable and frustrating
The location is ideal for divers, with a friendly staff ready to help you every step of the way. The diving experience was great , with multiple dives possible each day.
The rooms could feel a bit noisy due to their proximity to the main path. also, some rooms show signs of wear and tear that could use a refresh.

Exceptional diving and wonderful staff
Diving right from the resort was fantastic! The instructors, especially Didi, made the experience enjoyable and safe, ensuring both adventure and relaxation. Restaurant dishes were delicious, with stunning ocean views to match.
Wifi didn’t reach my room, which was a minor inconvenience for connecting with friends back home. Additionally, while the bed was comfortable, some might prefer a firmer option.

The final verdict on this
My stay at this resort was simply exceptional! With a backdrop of stunning ocean views, the staff made me feel like family. The diving here is phenomenal, particularly the house reef named Suci's Place. Plus, every meal was a delicious delight! I couldn't ask for a better vacation experience.

excellent diving opportunities, enjoyable spa services, seamless diving coordination
The room design doesn't match the advertising!!! Wifi accessibility issue and need for better shower configurations should be addressed!!! I'd love some lounge space improvements too!!!

i had the pleasure of staying in a 'superior room' that was anything but superior, dark and grimy! the bathroom was, well, revolting—smelly and unclean. would expect an upgrade given the condition of my room, but apparently, that’s too much to ask. i almost thought it could've been nice, but just couldn’t. never again.

The diving experience at Matahari Tulamben was truly remarkable, especially the house reef which offered breathtaking underwater scenery.
The air conditioning in our room struggled to keep the space cool during particularly hot days, making our stay a little uncomfortable.

Our family had an incredible time at the resort! We loved exploring Tulamben's fabulous dive sites that catered well to my teenage kids. The spa was a fantastic way for us all to unwind together after a long day of diving and exploring Bali.
My wife says that the rooms could use modernization.

I stayed in a Superior Double or Twin Room for 5 nights. The air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool, making it uncomfortable at times. Plus, I found the mattress too hard for my liking. But the diving right off the beach was great, and the restaurant views were stunning!
